If you're not a crypto user already, become one. Ignore the propaganda and any concerns, whatever they might be, and learn this. It might require buying a little. But I am NOT talking about investing. Forget investing. I'm not recommending any investments lol. This is about education. Be able to access crypto, use it, and be able to store your own and lock it away securely. Know about the various kinds of wallets. Maybe have an account at an exchange if you want, i.e. an on-ramp, for example Kraken. Find a wallet app for your cell phone that isn't made by homos, this might take a while because all the wall street homos have piled into crypto. Know about brain wallets and the difference between keys and seeds. DON'T TRUST JUST ANY WALLET. Be able to recover your wallet from a seed. Develop your own technique of storing your various wallet keys, if you so choose. It can be as simple as writing them down on paper. Be able to spend real crypto in a point of sale setting, from your cell phone wallet.
Banks and financial institutions are going to make all of the above simple for you, if you sign up with them. But you want to be in a position where you can decide whether you want to do that, or not.
