Yeah mayne. Here is more concrete examples 

Risks of HTTP on Message Boards

1. No Encryption:
Data is transmitted in plain text. Anyone on the same network (e.g. public Wi-Fi, LAN) can read what you're posting or reading.

2. Session Hijacking:
If the forum uses cookies for login and it's over HTTP, attackers can steal your session token and impersonate you.

3. Content Injection:
ISPs or malicious actors can alter the page content, inserting ads, scripts, or malware.

4. Phishing or Credential Reuse:
Users might use the same password across sites. If login credentials are intercepted, attackers could compromise accounts elsewhere.

5. Lack of Authenticity:
Without HTTPS, there's no guarantee you're talking to the real site. DNS spoofing or man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks are possible.
