It's catching up on me.   I've been seriously sick the past few weeks

Hopefully i can quit I'm going to start by drinking a little less each day and taper down but it's not good drinking poison every day for 20+ years it was bound to catch up on me eventually.     It's either i quit or die at this point

I recommend stopping all at once instead of tapering down. At least you will get some satisfaction from the sense of accomplishment.
